3 years ago I contacted Del Ray CC for help, I was $16,000.00 in debt and needed help to secure a Security Clearance for a Government job. I was skeptical about credit consolidation, what it would do to my credit, that I would get screwed over one way or the other. Del Ray CC really came through and helped me. They took care of everything! They worked out one easy payment a month that I could afford and broke everything down for me. I can’t express enough how this company has changed my life and helped me start over again with a clean bill and debt free. As of today I am in the clear and I never thought I would be able to say that. Chad was very helpful with every step of the process. For people interested in what Del Ray CC can do for you, I understand you are probably more than stressed right now and feel there is no relief in sight. Trust me, this is the place. My husband & I had in access of $27K of credit card debt. We contacted and began working witn DelRay in July of 2010. They did exactly what they promised. Payments to the creditors were made on time and questions were answered whenever we had them. In Sept of 2011 we were in a position to payoff the entire balance. DelRay worked with us on how to do this and paid the creditors the total amounts we gave them to pay.

I had been warned about working with Credit Card Counseling Services and my experience with Del Ray was exactly the opposite of what I was warned about.

I had such a great experience with Delray Credit Counseling. They helped me come out of about 20k worth of debt with ease. Everything that they stood by they came through with. My credit score was not affected at all! I would definitely recommend this business to anyone. They did all of the leg work and helped eliminate my debt and stress. I also thought it was pretty neat that when I signed up a couple of years ago, Chad, helped me to set up my account and everything that went along with it and now it is 2 years later and when I called to find out my next steps with ending the program Chad was there to help me again. I definitely was put at ease and relieved to hear a familiar voice.

4 years ago I was drowning in debt, hiding it from my husband and friends, but always keeping up with the Jones'. The merry go round had to stop. I contact DCC for help. I was ashamed that it had gotten so bad. But the counselors were kind and treated me with respect, never once did I feel talked down to or made to feel ashamed of what I had gotten myself into. I absolutely could not believe the speed of the consolidation process. I had my most recent up-to-date collection agency bills in front of me that contained the account number along with the collectors address while I was on the phone talking with a councilor,while simultaneously on-line doing my entry submitting to Del-Ray Credit Counseling,and within a few hours I had been consolidated with my first payment in a week! I've been working with DelRay for almost two years, making the American Consumer Credit boogey-men go away. They've always been right there when I needed help and info., explaining things succinctly and helping me focus in the most practical way possible on debt reduction. Especially since 2008, there are a lot of phonies out there, PRETENDING to be the real deal like DelRay, but they're so transparently bogus, there's no mistaking; especially since even network TV news shows have done specials on them. I'm so glad I held out for the DelRay Real Deal; it's a 501(c)(3) and you know they're not out to make a buck off the peoples' financial difficulties. With DelRay I know it's a long, slow climb but that I will get where I need to be at the end!

It's difficult to find a trustworthy debt consolidation company. After calling a few companies, meeting with a few, and not feeling secure with them, we called Delray. I was skeptical and asked Pete, who answered the phone, and a lot of questions. I informed him of our skepticism. He was calm and understanding, set us up on a payment plan, and we are now 3/4ths of our way to being paid off. He and his staff always answer the phone, answer questions, and we have total confidence in this program. It's great to actually see your balance go down each month and know you're under control. We would never have gotten above water without this company and we thank them.

About 3 yrs ago, I was over my head in credit card debt. Bill collectors was calling and it was just overwhelming. I found Delray Credit Counseling online. I made a call, submitted some information and it was too easy. The calls stopped immediately. They got me started with a payment that I could afford. Simple as that! In our first year of marriage, my wife and I racked up $10,000 dollars in credit debt and were in way over our heads. Our debt was costing us over $900 every month with late charges. Creditors were calling every hour. Delray was very respectful and helpful and lowered our monthly bill down by over 50%. Within a month, all of the calls stopped. It is just a shade under 2 and a half years later and our credit has improved, we paid everything off this month and it feels great!. I would highly recommend Delray to anyone looking to find financial freedom. They are respectful and eager to help. For the past two weeks, I have been calling many people to help me with my debt issues. I was seeking a true helpful idea from anyone. I am the only one who has been supporting a lot of my family members, and i felt alone trying to find help, until I spoke to one of the credit counselors on this site, and her name is Saris. She was the voice i was waiting to sooth my brain. She was like a sister to me, telling me from the beginning that she really wants to help, and she needs nothing from me unlike many other people on other sites. She wanted to know me, and asked me a a lot of questions about what and how i spend money. She even went further and offered genuine advice by telling what I might need to cut back on spending. I truly felt like she was my missing family member that i needed to tell me the truth. She really helped me getting on the right path. I have to say, Luis Rivera was very helpful, courteous and pleasent, while he was helping me try to solve some of my problems. I would recommend him anyday to my friends in the same situation. During this so called recession (depression) almost everyone in this small town have the same problem. Most people are unemployed and are receiving no benefits for unemployment. I am just beginning with this company, and here is my first impression. They are very helpful and kind, want to make sure I fully understand the program and how the can help. The jury is still out however if it is all they say it is I will return with a more complete review of their product and customer support. Like most of you I have become overwhelmed with my outstanding unsecured debt and was not looking forward to long years of paying the credit companies that did not want to give me any help. If this company and program get my credit card bills under controll and can pay them off in a few years, and also help improve my credit rating, it will be well worth working with them. Pete D you are the best. You are very knowledgeable and professional. I went on line and filled out my info with Del Ray. And from that point you guys continues to call me never giving up. So on the 24 Nov 10 they call me again. I answer the phone. And got Pete as my counselor. From that moment we start talking I could tell he was a good person. He made me laugh. As well as telling me that I don't need a credit card due to the fact that I am a shopaholic. He was very patient with me at all times. The process was incredibly simple and easy. Within minutes I had my monthly payment figured out and I was all done. Karl, the rep I spoke to, was incredibly friendly and hilarious! I found this website online and decided to call to just see how much trouble the whole process is. I have lived through addictions, went on to get a master degree in counseling. one day I found out I needed a new liver and the medical bill became overwhelming as I am now on a limited income. I just started this program so I have high hope and good feelings about it all. so stay tuned

I will be surprised if they approve this, but both the CSR I first talked with and the one who called back, were pushy and rude.

The first one would not take the fact I was not interested at the time for Delray's help and kept pushing me signing up that day. After I finally got him to understand no and got off the phone another representative called.

During this call I told him the same thing, He then told me that I wasn't right for Delray's service, During this time I got a call from the funeral home regarding my Grandmother's funeral. I told him this and had to go. I proceeded to hang up when he wouldn't end the conversation.

He called back, rudely right after that. I didn't answer. Another call, This time I answered and told him not to call back or I would consider it harrassment and hung up before he could talk.

He called back again and when I did not answer he left a voice mail, proclaiming once I was more mature and grew up enough to care about my Debt to call back and Delray would help me.... I dont want any of your help, you have rude representatives and Unwilling to work with the people who call you.

There are plenty of these services out there.... For the people looking at delray find a better service

I first contacted your agency back in January and I explained to the agent that a garnishment being applied to my payrole check because of a creditor, and she explained to me how DCC can help me. I faxed her over a copy of my credit report and she was able to sum all my creditors in one low monthly payment. I informed her that i didn'd want to start hte program untill the end of March once my garnishment was over and seh promised to call me back at that time. Well she called me as promised adn set me up with your program. Overall this agent which is Jean Murphy was able to provide me with excellent customer service.

I thought I was doing fine. My wife and I were both holding respected jobs in teh community, we just bought our first home, a new car. We were paying our bills on time and had no problems. We even managed to save up some money for ourselves. But it seemed life had other plans for us. I became desperately ill. Medical bills started mounting. Prescription cost was running $600 monthly. Ambulance rides, Emergency rooms, and doctors visits became a saily routine for me. We started using credit catds, not realizing the cycle we had become involved in. Before we new it, the credit cards were maxed again, the mortgage was maxed, I was looking at insurmountavle debt. Then i lost my job. We had to sell our home and had to pay $5000 just osell it, we netted $0 on the sale of ourhome. I then crashed and totaled my car and ended up with more bills now and no car. I started having seizures and life was just going down hill fast. Finding a job to pay the bills with my medical history became next to impossable. My wife struggled as best she could. We called creditors and met with rude people and negative results. I had given given up on ever being able to pay my debt.Clinical depression set in, but my insurace had run out and we could not afford to put me on my wife's insurace. I had no where to turn for help anymore, Then we found Delray Credit Councling by luck. I was scared, terrified that my bills had gotten this bad and embarrassed that i couldnot even work to pay back these people. I was looking at intrest rates of 29.9%. They made the calls, they did hte work.And they did it fast!! I dont fear monthly bills anymore, I'm still unable to work, but we are able to meet ourbills again. Theres something that Delray gave us that we didnt have 8 months ago, a light at the end of the tunnel. We dont have credit cards anymore, we dont own a home anymore and we drive a car my family gave me.

Jodi was so helpful and considerate of every question I interrupeted her with. After getting off the phone with her, I danced adn then began making a birth plan for my second child who is due at the end of October, this year. Because of the debt I've been surrounded with, sometimes I couldnt eat or sleep, let alone feel free to start planing a birth experance. But the payment plan adn amount is so within my budget, and i feel like i can use my energies on more important aspects of my life now- like my relationships.

I have attempted to work with other credit councling companies, but have found most of them to be rude and talk "down" to me without knowing my history and what has gotten us to the point we are at financially. People shouldn't judge others unless they have walked down their path in their shoes. So far, my experance with Delray Credit Counceling has been a good one. 1On 10/11/05, I got home late from work (again). I had been working extra hours to make extra money to pay off bills and I sit down to open the mail and there was another past Due letter from one of my credit card companies. How was I ever going to pay all that money back. I was just digging in deeper and I decided it was enough. It was about 9:40pm and I went online and found the Delray site. It was informative and helpful and inviting and I felt comfortable with it, so I decided to call in the morning. Then I saw that they were open until 10pm! I thought, wow these people must really want to help, they are open late. So I called right then. I talked with Laura Czarnecki. She was SO friendly and we got right down to business and she made me feel better in minutes. I couldn't believe how quick it was. She lifted a weight off my shoulders that had been there too long! She gave me a resolution really fast and felt like a I could trust her to help me get through this. She answered all my questions and beleive it or not we even had a few laughs! Jason was amazing! When I called the company, I knew I needed to do something about my debt, but I wasn't sure what. I didn't know anything about the options or what was best for me. I had contacted other companies that morning, but I had not received the help I needed. Most companies were more concerned about signing me up right away. When Jason answered the phone, I told him I was just looking for information. He told me to ask my questions and he'd answer them the best he could. He explained everything to me, making sure I understood my choices. He gave me background on his company, and listened to my concerns. Best of all, he didn't pressure me. Jason and I spoke again to go over my information, and he was patient and took the time to converse with me instead of getting the required information and ending the conversation. I didn't understand how credit scores worked, and applied for and used several credit cards. When my low student income needed to go elsewhere (books and fees) I couldn't make my payments. I was browsing debt consolidation companies and the name Delray stood out to me simply because my girls father lives in Delray Beach, so why not, i checked them out. I filled out an app and no more then 6 minutes later Darrel called me and helped me with everything i needed. I filled out an application online that I recieved in my e-mail. I was just assuming that this was another scam deal. Several days later the phone rang and it was Ricardo saying that he wanted to help me with my credit. I was shocked because I had almost forgotten about the whole thing and wasn't expecting the call when it came. I spoke with both Ricardo and Jason and they both wanted to help me with my credit. They laid it out in clear terms what was needed and there desire to help and friendliness was excellent. 1I have been battling these credit cards for four or five years. I wanted to pay them off but all I was paying was interest. I thought debt consolidation was going to ruin my credit but after talking to Pete, who was very helpful and professional, I realized it does not hurt my credit at all. "Growing up I never had a clear understanding of the importance of living within a Budget, paying my bills on time and ultimately making sure I had good credit.

I have always worked very hard but would spend, spend, spend and never really have an idea of where I "really" was financially. Bouncing a Check always seemed to surprise me for some strange reason. When in truth I never kept track of my account closely enough to know for sure where I "really" was at any given time. I had allowed credit cards to go way past due and really didn't think much of paying a bill late; I figured I would pay it when I could. I was living paycheck to paycheck and told myself I was doing "my best". Christmas of 2004 was the turning point for me. That January I got my Bank Statement and had been billed $300 in over draft fee's by my Bank!!! That was 10 transactions at $30 each!!! All because I was playing roulette with deposits verses debit card transactions. I was so busy shopping for Christmas presents for people that I failed to first take care of myself. That was it for me I decided that I had to get my finances straight or I would forever live on that treadmill.

A friend of mine suggested Credit Counseling might help me get out from under the mountain I had created of bad debt and bad credit. I signed up with Del ray Credit Counseling in January of 2005. The gentleman I spoke to was very kind and understanding which was so helpful because it is very embarrassing to admit that you have messed up your life that badly.
I got on a payment program and 13 months later had my debt paid off. I then began the painful process of rebuilding my name and credit. I say painful because when you actually care about your credit you realize how important each and every bill you pay is on time and DO NOT BOUNCE CHECKS that is a total waste of your money. The key is to make up your mind that you are going to do what it takes and that involves sacrifice and discipline.

I am happy to say that I closed on my first home this week !!! I have managed re-establish my Credit to the point of having "Good" Credit and I am now in the 700's!!!! Accepting you need help and making up your mind to do something about it is the first step and then finding the right "legitimate" company is the second.

Although it was a very difficult journey I must say I could not have done it without the help of Del Ray. Thank you to everyone there that has assisted me on my journey.
